We would rather be clear up front than argue later, so here is exactly how leaving works. The signed service agreement is the controlling document; this page restates it in plain words.
The free thirty days
The first thirty days of the Care Plan after your system goes live are free. You also have five business days after go-live to report anything that does not match the agreed scope, and we fix it at no charge.
Cancelling the Care Plan
- You can cancel at the end of any six month term by giving fourteen days written notice to support@johnboydesign.com. No forms, no phone tree, an email is enough.
- After your first term you can switch to month to month at your same rate, and then cancelling takes effect at the end of the current paid month.
- Cancelling part way through a term does not refund or cancel the remaining months of that term; they stay payable as agreed.
What happens to your data when you leave
You keep everything that is yours: your brand, content, client data, Stripe account, and domain. On request we deliver a full export within ten business days, and we co-operate in good faith if you want the underlying automation account transferred into your own name. After a thirty day wind-down the hosted system is taken offline.
Refunds
- Payments already made are generally not refundable, except where the law requires it.
- If we materially fail to deliver what the agreement promises and cannot fix it within fourteen days of written notice, you can end the agreement immediately, and we will refund any month you paid for but did not receive service in.
- If a duplicate or incorrect charge ever happens, tell us and we refund it in full, no questions.
If a payment fails
We tell you and give seven days to fix it. If it stays unpaid the system is paused, not cancelled: your term keeps running, your data stays intact and exportable, and everything resumes the moment payment is made.
Anything unclear, ask before you sign: support@johnboydesign.com. We answer within three business days.
